Shipping Policy

BMTC ships only when the transaction and destination can be verified as lawful. Customers are responsible for confirming current federal, state and local restrictions before ordering. Laws change, local rules may be stricter and BMTC may cancel an order when compliance cannot be verified.
Firearms and serialized receivers
Firearms and serialized receivers ship only to a valid receiving Federal Firearms Licensee. They do not ship directly to the customer. Before shipment, the customer must arrange the transfer and ensure BMTC receives the dealer’s current license information. The customer is responsible for the receiving dealer’s fees, required identification, background check, waiting period and all other transfer requirements.
Suppressors and NFA items
Suppressors and other National Firearms Act items move only through authorized FFL/SOT channels and applicable approval procedures. They are not released for customer possession until every required approval is complete.
Processing and delivery
In-stock orders normally require 2–5 business days for processing. Custom work, special orders, supplier delays, payment review, receiving-FFL verification and legal-compliance review may require additional time. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Adult signature or other carrier controls may be required. Regulated items cannot be redirected to an unapproved address.
Report loss, visible damage, an incorrect item or a missing item within 48 hours of delivery and retain all packaging and labels.
BMTC restricted firearm destinations
As a conservative business policy, BMTC does not ship AR-platform firearms or serialized AR receivers to the following states or jurisdictions: California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Washington.
Colorado orders involving covered semiautomatic firearms require special compliance review under current state permitting and training requirements. Colorado is not listed as a categorical BMTC no-ship state, but an order may be held or cancelled when compliance cannot be verified.
BMTC magazine-capacity shipping limits
BMTC does not ship a magazine exceeding the following conservative limits to the listed destination:
- California — 10 rounds
- Colorado — 15 rounds
- Connecticut — 10 rounds
- Delaware — 17 rounds
- District of Columbia — 10 rounds
- Hawaii — 10 rounds
- Illinois — 10 rounds for long-gun magazines; 15 rounds for handgun magazines
- Maryland — 10 rounds
- Massachusetts — 10 rounds
- New Jersey — 10 rounds
- New York — 10 rounds
- Oregon — 10 rounds
- Rhode Island — 10 rounds
- Vermont — 10 rounds for long-gun magazines; 15 rounds for handgun magazines
- Washington — 10 rounds
These are BMTC shipping controls, not legal advice or a complete statement of every jurisdiction’s law. City, county and other product-specific restrictions may also apply. A receiving FFL’s willingness to accept an item does not require BMTC to ship it.
Customer responsibility
Do not order an item unless you and the receiving dealer have confirmed it may lawfully be shipped, transferred and possessed. BMTC may request additional documentation, substitute a compliant magazine only with customer approval, ship without a restricted magazine when agreed, or cancel and refund the affected item.
